Of course, this list is subjective. These are just the ones I liked the most and found the most useful. I think you’ll find that, when used correctly, they are some of the best gadgets in Endgame.
Zipline (easy only)
One way to stay ahead of the pack in the finals is to use a zip line. These tools can be thrown onto the surface to instantly create a zipline across the map. They have excellent range and great potential.
I use them both to break into buildings and to reach rooftops at unexpected angles. They are also a great tool for getting out of a conflict that you know you can’t win. The lightweight class in the Finals needs all the help they can get playing heads up. This gadget will make you unpredictable, mysterious and deadly.
Jumping area (intermediate level only)
The jump pad cannot be overstated as one of the best gadgets in Endgame. Again, this is a tool that can be used defensively or aggressively. One of my favorite ways to use it in Endgame is to place it in a bottleneck in the game. I’ve used it to protect viewpoints by placing it under a window or door that I know will be broken into. Good luck with your goal when you suddenly get thrown into the air.
Again, like the zip line in Endgame, this is a great way to move around the map and attack from unexpected angles. The advantage of the jumping pad is that the whole team can use it.
Pyro grenade (heavy and light only)
Zone Denial is a big part of Endgame, so I think the Pyro Grenade deserves a spot on the list of best gadgets. The pyro grenade explodes into a huge surface of fire, covering everything it touches. It can be launched into a room full of people for some serious carnage.
The disadvantage of the pyro grenade compared to the regular frag grenade is the slow burn damage. However, I like it because it causes panic and confusion, even if it’s not usually an instant kill.
Defibrillator (medium only)
Three is a crowd, but it is not an army. Therefore, it is very important to keep as many of your team members as possible in the finals. For this reason, the Defibrillator makes it to the list of the best gadgets of the Endgame.
Reviving teammates takes a long time. A time that makes you very vulnerable. With the defibrillator, you can instantly revive a squadmate and get them back into the game. Maintaining your performance will bring you much closer to success. Obviously, no one wants to go it alone.
Thermal vision (light only)
This is as OP as it gets when used correctly. If you’re playing in the finals with a bunch of teammates in team chat, then having a light player with Thermal Vision will immediately give you a huge advantage. If you take out this bad boy, you can use the thermal camera to see everyone within sight.
If this is combined with smoke or other vision obstructing devices, you essentially become a Predator. Seeing through walls and targeting enemies with your heavy weapons can lead to juggernaut-style kills. Just point at them and watch the rubble crumble. Thermal vision, when used correctly, can easily be one of the best gadgets in Endgame.
