How to steal a bike in Spider-Man 2
This is the day J. Jonah Jameson always warned us was coming: Spider-Man is an outlaw! Thief! This is true. He has the means and method to steal a bicycle in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 . And since we at Destructoid just love being accessories to things, we’ll show you how to do it.
A bike you can ride was recently discovered by a Reddit user. User baamp_ accidentally came across a familiar red bike in a back alley before riding it to freedom. If you are tired of moving around the city freely using web lines, worry no more.
You can find the bike located on Peter Parker’s old property in Astoria . Go to the location on the map below and check out the parking lot/alley located between the row of buildings. If you see graffiti that says “Shine” on the side of a gray building, you’re almost there.

How to steal a bike in Spider-Man 2
Go down to the red bike. Press the triangle button and you should go up further. If you hear a ringing sound when you press the button, then you did everything right. Press the X button to speed up while driving. To exit, you need to come to a complete stop and press the triangle button again. Both Spider-Men can ride a bike, so don’t worry about having to switch characters.
Will you steal the bike in Spider-Man 2 or take it back?
To be honest, the bike definitely won’t be stolen in Spider-Man 2 . If you look closely, you can immediately tell that it is identical to Peter’s bike. He appears in the story mission “Roll Like We Used To”, in which Peter and Harry Osborn are relaxing on their bikes before visiting their old high school.
The bike you can find is red with stickers, the same as Peter’s. He appears again in the FNSM app side mission “Photo Help”, where Pete remembers the first time he sold a photo of Spider-Man to JJJ. The bike is south of Peter’s school and close to Aunt May’s house, so it’s probably less likely to be stolen and more likely to be brought home.
Well, if you could. The motorcycle suddenly disappears after you’ve driven a block or two down the street. So this is really more of an Easter egg than anything significant. Still, it’s fun and worth seeking out if you’re in Pete’s neighborhood.
