The game progresses at a steady pace and focuses on unlocking new adventures, character enhancement, and development and interactions with NPCs. Each action decides the storyline of the Divinity Original Sin 2. One slight change in action and storyline can change dramatically.

Shadowblade in Divinity Original Sin 2

Shadowblade, as the name suggests, is a stealth class used by your character and can be a key element in your armoury enrichment and can make you win several battles as you reach the mastery skills of shadowblade. It is just like the weapon Rouge in the board game Dungeons and Dragons. The Shadowblade can be used for silent, vulnerable, and effective assassinations in the Divinity Original Sin 2 as you progress further. It has a stat allocation;

  • Primary: Finesse
  • Secondary: Wit
  • Tertiary: Constitution

Your skill points are added to Finesse and increase damage by +5%. Your Secondary and Tertiary weapons are also as useful as Primary

Skills for Shadowblade:

There is a skill known as Chameleon Cloak, as the name itself represents that anyone with this skill can easily hide around several players and avoid attacks and vulnerability. Players can conceal themselves in-game with these skills. Then there is another skill known as Backlash. This is just like backstabbing your enemy as you use this, you will respawn behind your enemy from where you can try your hardest attack to be a conqueror. Chloroform is yet another skill here that you can use in the game to put under your enemies. How amazing it would be if you put under your enemies and then use your skill backlash to annihilate them. But then, if you somehow still missed the slot to kill your enemies and they wake up and rush towards you, we got you covered. There is another epic skill known as Sneak which you can go invisible for a finite time and change your reposition accordingly.

Talents:

  • Glass Cannon: This talent may give you a high reward but it comes at a price of high stake of losing to the enemy if it is used in the wrong way. It may reward you more with high damage but upon using this talent your armour will reduce its capability to defend your player
  • Torturer: Well if you are seeking a little fun as you put your enemies down in agonic pain, use this talent to add a pain effect that may weaken their strength and will cost them their chances to stand against you.
  • Leaping Strike: If you like to do a rush attack, use this talent as it will help you move faster around the enemy lines and confuse your fast movements and you may reposition and attack the enemies from behind without even giving them a chance to stand against you.

Warfare:

You can charge your enemies in a Battering Ram. It is just like a bull hit to your enemies which gives them considerable damage and you can knock them down. It is very useful for repositioning and disturbing spells during attacks. Another tactic to scare the opponent is when you do War Cry. It is an ancient style of attack in which you ambush the enemy out of nowhere and the opponent does not even get a chance to react to your ambush.

Combat Tactics:

You can either wait for your enemy to attack you and stay in the defence line or you can initiate the invasion by going stealth. Just don’t forget to teleport yourself and use Cloak and Dagger while you are behind the enemies and ready to backstab them. After the initiation of invasion, you can be lethal by applying combos to enemies just like Battering Ram or backstabbing them while consistently repositioning yourself according to the situation. Remember, you should never be alone in any conflict. Even if your attacks are effective, if you are alone you can easily be outnumbered by one unlucky critical shot by the enemy. So stay in your party and always attack altogether to put a pressure wave on them.

Remember, always use stealth whenever you can, stay together and try to ambush. Be opportunistic by not wasting any good chance to put down the enemy. Keep your mobility all around the battlefield and synergy with your team is key to success in the Divinity Original Sin 2. Shadbowblade is all about ninja tricks and patience at first and thereafter it takes valour like an Infantry Man fighting for life.
